the individual to choose if they wish to continue living or not, and yet others who argue that taking ones life is either suicide or murder and as such it
is incredibly immoral, unethical, and simply wrong. While an individual can perhaps take matters into their own hands, or have a family member help them in some form of euthanasia
one can well argue that it is never the right of a medical professional to assist in any form of euthanasia. The following paper argues, from a medically professional standpoint,
that euthanasia is wrong. An Argument Against Euthanasia As mentioned, individuals may well be able to do something about their own health or the health of a loved
one as it involves euthanasia. They will, of course, face consequences if they assisted a loved on in euthanasia because it is illegal to kill someone or help someone kill
themselves. This does not mean that some people truly feel this is the right way to go. For example, if a loved one is suffering great pain and there is
no hope of ever getting better it seems that they should have the right to end their own life, and a loved one witnessing such an event may desire to
do their loved ones wish, helping them die more nobly. But, that is a personal issue, and although illegal, is not an issue that, hypothetically, involved a medical professional.
Medical professionals have committed themselves to helping improve the lives of people, committed themselves to doing whatever possible to improve the health of individuals,
and committed to making people better overall. They have not committed to the notion of putting an end to the lives of individuals. In all honesty, that goes against everything
