On the Republic . Both of these authors, as well as many others that have come since, have delved into ideas about reincarnation. The setting in both works do not
resemble modern American life at all. The situations took place in a time when things were fundamentally different and while it is the case that events that occurred in the
myth and the dream are quite different from what one would expect to find today, the idea that reincarnation is possible, or that death is not the end, is present
in modern American life. Perhaps the most notorious place that this exists is within churches where it is presumed that one will never die due to the fact that Jesus
Christ was born and died for the sins of the people. Heaven is where the people will go, so the ideal does not go to reincarnation necessarily, but rather to
the idea that death does not end life. On the other hand, New Ageism, Buddhism, Hinduism and other religions support the idea of reincarnation in that they believe that people
have lived before, but in other physical bodies. In fact, there are people who claim to remember prior lives and a well known psychiatrist found a breakthrough with clients when
