culture is today in the 21st century. The times have definitely changed since the 17th century. I also cant get over how many female singers there are. Where did that
come from? In my time, they just helped around the house, worked on the farm and barely spoke. Now they are getting paid millions of dollars to sing to sold-out
concerts. I also cant grasp how much money these individuals make. I understand the concept of inflation, but the money these performers make could not only provide for an entire
village but I imagine for the entire pre-colonial population. And where did these clothes come from? They are so bright and flashy and often times they only cover half of
the body. Where are these peoples parents? How do they let them dress like that? I must say, while there are some similarities, much of American culture today is completely
foreign to how we did things in the 17th century. In fact, it is hard to believe that this is the same country. If only the founding fathers could see
us now. Nonetheless, I do not want this to come off as entirely negative. Change is good sometimes, and who am I to judge how culture has defined itself
