citizenship. I. THE UNITED STATES It has long been said that the United States of America is a vast melting pot of
various races, religions and heritage that make it one of the most culturally diverse populations in the entire world. This blending of such culture has been credited with bringing
societies closer together and allowing people to understand and accept other lifestyles other than their own. However, this is no longer true; while America may still house the greatest
variety of peoples, it is no longer an educational or cultural melting pot. Back in the middle of the century, when it actually meant something positive to be of
another race or culture living in the United States, the country was in the frame of mind to accept those who chose America over their own homeland. It was
a rich and rewarding time when cultures could come together and share their background, incorporate their beliefs and enhance the American Way. Successful families and businesses were born out
