where a great deal of warfare and utter chaos seems to reign. The battles in Kosovo are taking place between the Serbs and the Albanians, with many of the Albanians
leaving to find brief refugee status in Switzerland and other parts of Europe. The following paper first examines why the Albanians are in Switzerland and then discusses the impact
the refugees have had on the country of Switzerland and Europe in general. Albanians From Kosovo In first understanding the conditions that exist in Switzerland concerning the Albanian
refugees we must first understand something of the predicament that the Albanians find themselves in. The battles that have raged in Kosovo have been many faceted. For example, while originally
much of the chaos was focused towards the Albanians, it seems some of that trend has changed. It seems that for quite some time it was the Albanians who were
suffering at the hands of the Serbs in a land they felt was theirs. Now that much of the battle with the UN the Albanians are coming out in force
and trying to take back their place. In truth it seems as though the Serbs and the Albanians are taking turns in regards to immoral and unethical acts, with the
Albanians seemingly possessing a passion that can not be quieted. We note that while a great deal of anger is being vented from the Albanians, there is also the
condition where many Albanians, as of 1999, are being held in prisons. One author provides us with the following information in these regards: "Kurti and Brovina are two of more
than 2,270 Kosovo Albanians held as political prisoners in Serbia, according to the International Committee of the Red Cross. An additional 1,500 Kosovo Albanians are still listed as missing, including
