(Abusabha and Woelfel, 2003, p. 566). However, the aim of qualitative research is to provide a complete, detailed description of the studied phenomenon (Neill, 2004). Qualitative researchers feel that human
behavior is significantly influenced by the setting in which it occurs, as it is this setting that provides the framework in which thoughts, feelings and actions are interpreted (Marshall and
Rossman, 1980). As this indicates, qualitative researchers are primarily concerned with process, rather than with outcomes and/or products of that process (Marshall and Rossman, 1980). As this indicates,
qualitative research is a more holistic approach than quantitative measures, as it values "subjectivity, quality, emotion and holism" (Edwards, 2002). The study conducted by Finlayson, Denend and Hudson (2004) is
an excellent example of a study that incorporates qualitative methodology with quantitative instrumentation in order to obtain. At this point, the student researching this topic may be asking what the
