Essay / Research Paper Abstract
3 pages in length. Aggressive drivers behave as if their presence on the road and ability to reach their destination are the only things that hold any importance; as such, they drive erratically, follow too close, honk, swerve in and out of traffic, travel well beyond the posted speed limit, flash their brights into the rearview mirror of the driver ahead of them, make unkind gestures and generally hold little respect for those who share the road with them. The object of dealing with aggressive drivers is NOT to challenge their self-given power but instead defer to their unsafe antics and get as far from them as immediately possible. Since they disregard road rules, they also ignore the potential for being the cause of an accident. Bibliography lists 1 source.

actions that have resulted in violence in the past. Many of these actions are simply eliminated by practicing common courtesy. Others are behaviors which are, or may be
considered, offensive" (New York State DMV, 2007). Clearly, the last thing for a driver to do when in the proximity of an aggressive driver is to challenge that person
in any way. For example, speeding up to prevent him changing lanes will not deter his action; rather, he will still squeeze between you and the driver in front
of you just to demonstrate how much power he believes he has. Then you can count on him immediately applying his breaks so you have to make a fast
