a career in health after watching my father, who worked as a physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. I saw that he had the ability to make a difference in
the lives of people in need and had a positive role in changing their lives and experiences. It became my desire to take on a role in health care
that would allow me to create the same kind of change. Ive had some experiences in recent years that have further solidified my desire to work in a medical
field. My senior year, I was employed at Brockton Hospital in Outpatient Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, providing support for a physical therapist who worked with patients in pain management
following surgery. This experience helped me see the impact that health professionals can have on the progress that individuals make during recovery, but also helped me see the importance
of diagnostic services, including the service of radiologists. I hope to expand my education in the Allied Health program because of my experiences in care for patients,
my increasing interest in professional development, and my belief in life long learning. Expanding my professional development in the area of radiology is directly linked to my belief in
life long learning as a personal life philosophy. Over the course of the last decade, the focus in human resources departments across the
nation has turned to the use of continuing education models to support what has been described as the "lifelong learning movement." This movement has been shaped by the belief
