Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and moved to Denver in 2005 to begin a Masters degree in Computer Information Systems. My specific interest lies in Data Warehousing (DW), in part because
of the technological aspects of the discipline, in part because of the possibilities of its application in Business Intelligence. I plan to specialize in database applications and focus on
that area after finishing my Masters degree. Pursuing certification works well with my future plans and I have a great deal of personal interest in the area. Personal Contribution
I am a high-energy organizer, studious, hard-working and detail-oriented. Though serious about work, I truly like people and typically they respond in
kind. I have an array of experiences I believe will positively contribute to the group pursuing certification. As example, I began independent study of SAP and RS/3 in
Summer 2004 and in November 2004 I attended a SAP event in San Diego at great personal monetary expense. Also, I am proficient in the use of Microsoft(r) Project
2003. I founded the Arab Student Association (ASA) at Denver University in Spring 2005. ASAs purpose is the "introduce the Arab Culture
and customs to the University" and toward that end this year we held an information event on campus. The Embassies of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Oman, as
well as Saudi Aramco provided information and promotional material assistance for ASA, and each responded positively in only a months time. The ASA has been active enough that it
