Christians. The story of the expulsion from the Garden of Eden is one that is constantly thrown about, with men laughingly saying women caused all the problems, and women seemingly
justifying their position, in jokes and seriously. There are numerous perspectives concerning the expulsion, and there are still powerful influences and arguments today as it relates to the position of
women. We can put all the jokes and laughter aside, and look at history and see that women have been confusing creatures as it relates to Eve. Women have been
seen as innocent and ignorant creatures that need to be taken care of. They have been seen as evil creatures that will use a man up at every opportunity. In
essence, because of the story of Adam and Eve, as it relates to Eves involvement in the Garden of Eden, women have been looked upon in many ways. In the
following paper we examine the story of Adam and Eve and look at how the expulsion influences our society today in regards to the position of women. Adam
and Eve We all know the story of Adam and Eve, whether or not we believe it. Adam and Eve had it made, living in the Garden of Eden. They
were told, by God, not to eat of the fruit from the tree of knowledge. Eve, however, was lured by the serpent or snake, who was the devil, and decided
to eat. As a result she and Adam were cast out from the garden and made to experience pain and suffering in the world we know today. According to
