around the world see acute care funded by public money. Acute care is available in most nations. In Europe, for example, a list of the largest acute care facilities sees
a Serbian facility with 3,500 beds at the top of the list ("Europes 10 Largest Acute Care Hospitals ...," 2010). Germanys Charite Hospital is second with 3,213 beds, and Finland
comes in third with 2,600 beds at one of its facilities ("Europes 10 Largest Acute Care Hospitals ...," 2010). It might be surprising to hear that Serbia embraces the largest
