or discusses three different aspects, within the accreditation standards as posed by the student requesting this essay. Standards for Human Resources: Elementary School
The first subject involves giving the "standards for Human Resources for a Elementary School with a student enrollment of 600 students." In an elementary school, where the population
is only 600, the first requirement is to provide an administrative head (Public School Standards, 2006). The requirement is also to provide .5 administrative or supervisory assistant and 1 guidance
professional (Public School Standards, 2006). There must be 1 library or media specialist and 1.5 "support staff for administration library media or technology" (Public School Standards, 2006).
Each individual must possess a certain level of education as well. For example, the administrative head must possess a graduate degree along with "18 semester hours
in administrative or supervision...accrediting agency" (Public School Standards, 2006). Counselors and media specialists must also possess a graduate degree (Public School Standards, 2006). Standards for Human Resources:
High School The next request asks what the standards are "for Human Resources for a Large High School with a student enrollment of
1200 students." Clearly the standards would be a bit more than those for an elementary school with half the population. In a high school of that many students the first
