plethora of reasons which support this, although the greatest is something less tangible than hard facts. I believe then that the main reason Lincoln was such an outstanding president
has to do with his moral character. Lincoln was a man of courage, of honor, and of integrity, and in this way he rose above the petty daily details
and saw the big picture and how he could contribute to that. In a word, he was a visionary. He took this country and forever changed its course.
