any "birth control" plan. Birth control seeks to avoid pregnancy, not put an end to it. Yet, many are arguing that it should be included in a birth control plan,
and be yet another option that ranks next to condoms and the pill. The following paper examines the notion of birth control for teens and the idea of including abortion
as part of a birth control plan. The paper then argues that abortion should not be presented as a birth control option to teens. The argument does not indicate that
teenagers should be unable to get abortions for any reason, but that it should not be included in a birth control plan. Abortion as Part of a

(STD)...The most dependable way to prevent pregnancy...is not to have sexual intercourse" (Gallagher et al.). this is something that applies to everyone and it stands as the most powerfully accurate
means of not getting pregnant and should perhaps be the first option for teens, and anyone else who does not want to get pregnant, in relationship to birth control options.
Realistically, however, we are human beings and human beings have an inherent desire and need to be sexually active at some point in their lives. As such this is not
