was looked down upon by many because it did not necessarily possess the classic styles of architecture that most people had become accustomed to. Post modern architecture is sometimes seen
as cold, but it is also very powerful and expresses the changes in a society, our society, perhaps better than any other form of art. The following paper compares two
post modern buildings: AT&T Headquarters and the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.. The two are examined separately and then compared. Post Modern Architecture As the name would suggest,
post modern architecture seeks to represent a world that has already achieved a level of modernity. Today we are clearly in the post modern world as technology has grabbed hold
completely, and in terms of when this post modern age began the clear answer is perhaps vague, but could well be argued as having really arrived in the past fifty
years. As this post modern age was clearly part of our world, architects sought to find a way to present a "counter-force to the, at times, monotonous and anonymous
image of the International Style, there was an interest in restoring the status of old architectural styles and combining them with the new ideas to create a more versatile visual
