mankind continues to dream, to doodle, to need a creative outlet. However, as mans environment has changed over the centuries, so too, has his artwork. What will the art of
the future be like? Art is influenced by many factors: environment, philosophy, emotions of the artist and events. The spiritualists state that the Earth is now heading into the Aquarian
Age. The Aquarian Age has been experienced by the Earth once, long ago, during the time that Egypt was in its heyday. Given this, idea, then, one has to state
that the art of the future will be more philosophical, spiritual in basis, and geared toward the natural side of things. This may be in direct contrast to popular opinion
which signals a turn toward technology in art forms. However, given the New Age movement and the predictable course which it will take, it is more likely to say
that art of the future will repeat the desires of the Rustics and the Romantics in many ways. The Romantic Era artists were disgusted with the industrialization of the cities
and the resultant loss of humanity which they saw in this process. Additionally, the Rustics craved a return to the simpler ways which are dictated by nature and by the
ways of the farmer and those who work with the land. A return to the land and the environment may signal a return to these types of concepts in the
art work. This philosophy of the future, then, will be called the Aquarian Art movement, much like the Impressionists before. Disenchanted with the wars and the barbary, these artists
will strive to unite the hearts of man through their work, their artistic concepts, and the messages in their works. This movement will tend to include more representational artists than
