O*NET, analyze it, and determine its ease of use. In this particular paper, well analyze the career of a journalist. Given the
analysis, well provide answers to the following: 1. How easy was it to find the specific occupation you were looking for, and how comprehensive was the information provided about
that occupation? Getting to the O*NET Online was the most difficult part, as the link was near the bottom of the
home page. A lot of information had to be waded through before finding the right link. However, once on O*NET Online, things
became much easier. The interesting aspect of this particular Web site is that its divided into various search engines - if the user doesnt have a keyword or SOC code,
he or she can move to the Job Zone or Job Family, which also brings up the same skill set and data references.
Finding the SOC code is fairly straightforward as well, and doesnt take a brain surgeon to do this. Simply type in the job (we typed in "journalist") and the
data comes up, along with the SOC code. Very simple and straightforward. 2. What did you think of the occupations O*Net suggested as matching your skills? Was the occupation you
are in or preparing for among those listed? Finding the occupations from the skill sets presented was an interesting endeavor, and this
