following. Although most people believe that the greatest influences on teenage girls are their peers and the media, in actual fact the people with the most influence are their parents,
who can guide their lives and life choices (Expect the best from a girl). "Expectations and experiences from family and community members are more likely to influence girls decisions than
their innate abilities" (Expect the best from a girl). Finally, because we are all different, we have different levels of achievement, which "come from different expectations for success and different

the greatest influence on me are my parents. I have always known that I wanted to become a professional and that a college education would be necessary to achieve that
goal. My father is a college grad but my mother did not attend school beyond high school, and I know that she regrets that. She has often spoken of returning
to school when my younger brother is out of the house, and I believe she may do so. I dont think that she is disappointed in her life-she enjoys her
