piece that I thought were important in dating the artifact. First, the image presented is of two servant women standing in front of a table of offerings. Each
of the women is wearing a simple frock, a sheath dress that consists of simple fabric with little in the way of ornamentation on the dress itself. One of
the women is wearing jewelry, a neck piece, and this would correspond with servant depictions of this period (Egyptian Civilization, 2004). Second, during this period, depictions of servant women
were often separated from the nobility they would serve by the presence of certain characteristics, including the lack of braids in their hair and dresses without ornamentation on the bottom.
