international expansion increasingly viable; even for small to medium-size enterprises. For a real estate company that is considering expanding from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Philippines there are
many potential advantages in addition to being able to access a new market. However, to consider this potential expansion it is not
only necessary to consider the marketing and sales and the size of the potential market, but to also look at issues which will impact on the everyday operations; including the
cultural differences in the way this may impact on human resource management. The report will start by outlining the existing operations, and
