Over two thousand years later, however, there are many who question whether or not that oath is presently being upheld. The question of public healthcare and the means by which it is delivered is a question that has been the center of heated debate in recent years as in years long past. Much of this debate has centered on the benefits and the drawbacks of a nationalized health plan, and most of this debate has been held within the boundaries of the United States of America.
