systems in place, but they are not facilitating communications between all departments which is helping to maintain fragmentation. There are also major issues with information flow. This report considers how
the situation can be remedied with a new system. By looking at approaches such as soft systems modelling and actor network theory the way that the employees interact with the
system can be considers and the use of either agile development of requirements engineering can be used to help develop a system that meets the user and organisational operational needs.
The recommendation is that this should be based on a client server system with the use of a requirements engineering model to determine the software needs.
