It is my great honor to be allowed to make several recommendations to you regarding your wish to help the Christian community of Rome build
some churches. As you are certainly aware, the number of Christians in Rome has grown substantially since your conversion just a few years ago in 312 AD1. I
am certainly aware that this date marks a turning point in your own life. It is, after all, the date that you accepted Christ as your personal Savior, the
date that you assured your ultimate arrival to the gates of heaven. As you are also aware, however, there are many others in our community that have not made
this same commitment to a new life. Indeed, Rome remains largely inhabited by Pagans. The Roman Senate, in fact, is primarily made up of those who have not
accepted Christ as their Savior. It is important, therefore, that we take careful, calculated, steps towards accomplishing your goal of building Christian churches so that we do not irreversibly
alienate these individuals. We must strive to attract them to our churches, not run them away. It is, after all, one of the most important precepts of Christianity
