year old unemployed single mother originally born in Guyana, South America. Like you, I come from a humble background; my father, a security guard and my mother, a housewife,
supported my early efforts to go to college in the United States. I left my family in Guyana as a hopeful young woman, seeking a way of supporting my
family and bettering my life. I began college in the United States at the CW Post campus of Long Island University. I graduated from LIU with a BS
in Health Care Administration and went on to attend LIUs Brooklyn campus, where I graduated with a Masters in Public Administration/Health Care Administration. In my hope for achieving the
best education I could, I was accepted to, and am now attending, Walden University, working towards a PhD in Public Policy. Though my path has always been clear,
with a desire to "make something of myself," I am growing increasingly afraid that I will not be able to reach my goals and complete my education. I am
currently caring for my 3 year old son, attempting to maintain autonomy at a time when my parents cannot afford to provide me with any additional help. Ive recently
received bills for my student loans, which exceed $122,000, and Im struggling to complete my education with mounting expenses. As you can imagine, it is difficult to balance
