Jerrys. This company is of course a now well known ice cream manufacturer that provides a variety of gourmet ice cream in small containers. The new CEO has two cousins,
each of whom has invited the individual to a special dinner. One dinner is at the White House and supportive of the impending war in Iraq whereas the other dinner
is at the VAIW and the invitation assumes that the individual will give a speech against the war. While the decision may impede on the relationship with each of the
cousins, a more important issue looms. That is, attending each dinner either provides support or opposition to the war. As CEO of a large company, the stance will reflect on
the firm. Also, as an important individual in the business realm, one could organize a large group of business people to express their opinions on the war either way. Hence,
a great deal of political power is at stake. The individual wonders what to do and which course of action is in the best interest of the business.
Should the CEO support or oppose going to war in Iraq? Or, should the CEO remain neutral? Before making a decision on this important topic, one should of
course explore the firm and what it stands for. What is its vision and its mission? What is the history of the company and what is its corporate culture? The
