resources department is evolving from the place that used to deal with "first interviews" and filling out claims and benefit forms and applications, to a true strategic partner in the
company. In this paper, well study the human resources component and plan of Cuddle Bear Enterprises, a fictitious company that manufactures specialty
stuffed teddy bears (and other stuffed animals) for adults. The plan will include how the company plans to recruit and select its employees -- and most of all, how to
nurture its employees so the talented ones will stick around. The plan will also include methods of how to weed out people who may not be right for the company.
Company Description Cuddle Bear Enterprises manufactures, sells and distributes small, stuffed teddy bears for special occasions like birthdays, holidays, graduations, or "just
because." Cuddle Bear also has a line of other animals for those who may not like teddy bears -- and these include dolphins, tiger cubs and dogs.
The company was launched by Bill Beyers, who liked the idea of getting his girlfriend a "happy anniversary" gift, but who couldnt find the
