As a major developing nation, India is becoming a viable target for a variety of businesses. The growing middle class in this country, combined with a growing
economy, makes it irresistible to many businesses, entrepreneurs and employers. Furthermore, the fact that most Indians are English-speaking adds to the allure of this country as a base from which
to do operations. However, there are also horror stories of western businesses that have entered India confidently to do business, only to
be burned later. On the customer service side, heavily-accented English, combined with adherence to scripts and no real help has brought criticism to many western high tech companies who decided
to locate call centers in India to save a few dollars. Furthermore, the business structure, not to mention certain cultural mores in the country, have left many western companies executives
scratching their heads in perplexment. How can a country, that seems to be growing economically and that definitely wants foreign investment, be so uninviting when the business actually gets there
