When a student is assigned a paper that allows him to express personal opinions and experiences he has a unique opportunity to reveal the essence of who and what he
is. Being honest and looking at things from a unique perspective, and with humor, can be a rewarding experience for both the student and the professor. If the student does
that, he might write something like the following. I have an opportunity to study at Vesalius College, and am looking forward to it, especially because it has a low faculty-to-student
ratio and is a very small institution, with approximately 390 students from 70 countries (Vesalius College). Brussels, to my way of thinking, is not as exciting a city as Paris,
which is my home. But it offers cafes, music festivals, museums, parks and walking trails which may surprise me (Vesalius College). The city is home to many interesting institutions, I
must admit, including the EU, and the worlds biggest press corps, along with hundreds of non-governmental organizations (Brussels life). With all the diplomats, businessmen, political figures and so on who
life and work in Brussels, the opportunity is there to learn a great deal about international relations. I do find myself wondering if Ill find anything decent to eat while
Im there, since like all French people Im passionate about food (France - French culture, customs, and etiquette). Our cooking is "very refined" and "involves careful preparation, attention to detail,
