go online and purchase books from Amazon.com or they buy something from WalMart online instead of going to the store. Finally, the C2C is the new model where consumers sell
to one another. In fact, with the advent of eBay, people have begun businesses and make a living just selling things on the web. In evaluating these three types
of models --B2B, B2C and C2C-- there are differences as well as similarities. For ease of use, specific companies will be the focus of this paper. The companies are Intel,
Eddie Bauer and eBay respectively. In examining the B2B model, Intel is a web site that can actually be used by the consumer but is generally a B to B
model. The target audience in general are other businesses. At the site, when clicking on Solutions and Services one finds an explanation as to what the company provides as follows:
"Intel combines hardware, software, and services into a variety of solutions for your business needs and technical challenges" ("Intel Corporation," 2004). Specific items listed in terms of offerings include things
like services, solution providers, wireless, hardware design, networking, and business and IT (2004). Web site features and functions used include interactivity in general and a download center. Also offered is
product support and contact support, the latter of which may be accessed if there is a problem. A consumer may contact a representative by e-mail for help which includes the
