differently. There are many examples, for example, McDonalds in some areas in different countries will make use of Halal meat in order to sell their food, in other areas companies
such as ICI or Johnson and Johnson there are different social standards and requirements which will also impact on the way that a company will need to treat their employees.
It may be argued that the key is to deal with the issues that are presented by cultural differences in terms of human resource practices. If these are adequacy
dealt with information regarding other aspects such as the need for Halal meat, may be forthcoming from the staff, even where the company themselves do not understand the issue.
The culture will embody the aspects such as morals, ethics and the use of tools such as empowerment (Veiga, 1993). According to Trice and
Bayer cultures are collective, emotionally charged, historically based, inherently symbolic, and dynamic (Trice and Beyer, 1993).This will be reflected in the way they are instigated and can often be seen
