While I respect your right to do as you please with your life, I would very much like to see you reconsider this decision. At this point I imagine youre
sick of school and would just like to shut the books for the last time, and claim all your time for yourself. However, this may not be the best course
of action. First, I understand that the lure of a job is very strong. It would give you some money so that you would be able to buy things for
yourself instead of always depending on your parents. You would develop a sense of independence and with discipline, could certainly save enough to move out and start a life of
your own-something most young people want to do. You might even earn enough for a car! The first job and the independence that it brings are very important markers
in a young persons life: for the first time you will be earning your own living and the importance of this milestone cannot be overstated. There is also undeniably a
great deal of pride in working. Its an old American tradition that workers given an "honest days work for an honest days pay." This is one of the oldest of
