people be classified? What do they do to earn such a classification? In examining several friends throughout the years, I have come to the conclusion that there are three different
types of friends. One type is the friend you can trust completely. My friend Denise for example has always kept my confidences. She listens to what I have to say
and makes comment, but she is never abrasive in her word choices, nor does she comment in a way that feeds her ego. Rather, she shows genuine concern. Her trust
is earned not only because she is a good listener, and I am certain that she is on my side, but also because she has never let me down. If
I need something, she is always there to help and if I just need to talk, she will drop everything and listen. When it comes to trust, she has shown
herself to be reliable throughout the years. While other friends come and go, she is always supportive. I can trust her with my innermost fears and secrets. She has earned
this trust by never telling others the things we discuss. While Denise is a good friend and seems to have unwavering loyalty, there are other friends who are also good
