where my interests lie, but also because I would ultimately like to design web pages and have my own business. I know that this is a growing field and with
the advent of the Internet, programming in this category will only grow. At the same time, I might also like to work for a large company, and work on system
mainframes. I realize that with the degree, I will likely get a good job, but there have been ups and downs in the industry and I believe that I could
always start my own consulting business and design web sites for small businesses for example. I am not sure exactly what I want to do. I do plan on
seeking employment in a related area shortly after graduation and again, I have a desire to work at a large corporation, troubleshooting their systems, or going the entrepreneurial route. If
I pursue the former, I will hopefully be in an advanced position in the next five or ten years. If I start my own business, I would hope that it
would grow within ten years time so that I will have employees doing the bulk of the work. I am hoping that by interviewing people who have also had the
same major that I will learn what I might expect after graduation. II. The Interviews The first interview was secured with a senior multimedia programmer who works at
Telematrix in Indianapolis. His name is Steven Krantz. He would work on a variety of projects as it respects marketing programs. I envisioned such an individual working alone in a
cubicle but Steven explained that they had weekly user-programmer meetings as well as departmental staff meetings on a daily basis. Additionally, many questions and problems would arise that would prompt
