4 Ps of the marketing mix these are product, place, price and promotion (Kotler and Keller, 2008). The product here is the program with the aim of tackling childhood obesity,
which is focused on education of children so that they can make the best choices regarding their diet and activities, including exercise. This will need to be designed to impart
information, but it needs to be designed in a manner that will appeal to children between the ages of 12 and 16 years, this means that the program will need
to gain the attention of the target audience and capture their interest. In addition to this it also has to be motivational, not only telling them what to do and
providing them with information, but motivating them to take the actions advocated. The program should compliment other measures that are already in place, such as those in schools and in
other youth based organizations. In this was it is complimenting rather than competing with other similar campaigns (Mintzberg et al, 2008). Slide 2
The 2nd P is place. The place can be considered in terms of the channels of distribution and the place where the program will be delivered. The distribution
will be mainly for the way that information is delivered as well as information about the program practical content. The primary distribution channels will be the schools and the organizations,
such as general physician practices and clinics, as well as youth clubs, after school clubs and events where the target market and their parents are likely to be. The delivery
