their management. Motivation is an important aspect of project team management because leaders and managers need to understand how to motivate a team so that they will be successful. Along
these same lines, the paper discusses the differences between Baby Boomers and Gen Ys. Project Management A project is any temporary endeavor whose purpose is to achieve something
specific. Project management involves the application of a set of skills and knowledge to achieve the goal. The specific tools and techniques used depends a great deal on the projects
goals. However, most, if not all projects involve four phases: the initiation of the project, planning the projects activities, execute the activities identified and closing the project (Chapman, 2005). In
the field, these phases are often abbreviated to: initiate, plan it, do it, and close down (Oxford Brookes University, 2007). Projects fail at an alarming rate. The literature emphasis technology
