case study is one that can provide a student with the wherewithal to create a presentation in hopes to convince others that their idea will work. Powerpoint is an excellent
way to provide a persuasive presentation for owners of the diner. In this case study, the owner of the diner realizes that it is too small and wants to
expand. The vision that is a part of this endeavor is tied to the idea that the diner should be seeing larger parties and people who come in to the
diner as part of their work experience. The diner owner wants to see a larger lunch crowd. It seems as if all of the business in the area is conducted
in chain restaurants or restaurants that can accommodate more than four people at a time. In fact, the biggest drawback that ABC Diner has is that it is too small
to seat large parties. A student writing on this subject may want to create a colorful PowerPoint display to provide the owner with a semblance of what to expect in
expanding the diner. It has been noted that on occasion the owner has had to turn down reservations for six or eight people because the customers did not want to
be accommodated in tables of four. While the setting might be perfect for Valentines Day when small tables are desirable, for the most part, the arrangement is not good.
